In the original A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984): During a nightmare, the character Tina Gray attempts to fight back and tears off Freddy’s face, revealing his underlying musculature and a skeleton-like face. I believe this mask captures that moment from the film. It is unclear if this was made by Rubie’s or Don Post Studios. It’s also unclear which year it was released. I do not believe it to be vintage, but it does appear to be obscure. It is an official licensed piece authorized by New Line Cinemas. It is a double mask, where the smaller Freddy Krueger-style mask can be pulled away to reveal the larger, screaming corpse face underneath. The masks are made of latex material. They are used as stated and may show minor wear, color loss, scuffs/scratches etc. Regardless you get this item as is! Please note the underlying gray display head is NOT INCLUDED with this mask. This is for the mask(s) only. If you’re a collector of horror memorabilia / collectibles you need to add this to your collection. It also makes a great Halloween collectibles.
